Privacy policy
Rinkside Ready collects only the information needed to operate community arena ratings, saved hockey plans and the service.
Information you provide
When you rate an arena temperature, we receive the rink, ice pad and rating you select. When you submit a full review, we also receive your optional display name, visit month, comments and clothing tip. If you use My Hockey, we store the team, schedule, arena, pad, travel notes and tournament checklist details you choose to add.
Your account
My Hockey uses your ChatGPT sign-in to keep your private schedule connected to your account across supported devices. Rinkside Ready receives a stable account identifier and the email or display name supplied for sign-in. Your private schedule is not shown publicly.
Team hotel requests
If you request team hotel rates, we store your account email, tournament, rink, dates, room count, budget and the needs you submit. These details may be shared with participating hotel partners only to help respond to that request. They are not posted publicly.
Device information
A random identifier is stored on your device to limit temperature voting to one current rating per ice pad. Saved arenas are also stored on your device. These identifiers are not intended to identify you personally.
How information is used
We use submitted information to calculate community averages, moderate reviews, prevent duplicate ratings, maintain security and improve arena listings. We do not sell personal information.
Public content
Approved reviews, optional display names and submitted arena tips may appear publicly. Temperature votes are displayed only as combined averages.
Retention and choices
You can remove My Hockey events inside your account. You can clear saved arenas and your voting identifier through your browser or device settings. To request account data deletion, review removal, correction, or information about your submission, use the support page.
Children
Rinkside Ready is designed for hockey parents and families but does not knowingly request a child’s name, contact information, or precise location. Parents should supervise submissions made by children.
Changes
This policy may be updated as the app gains features. The effective date above will change when material updates are made.
